 Bahcesehir Colleges to największa w Turcji sieć szkół prywatnych, założona w Stambule w 1994 roku (FW – nazwa od nazwy dzielnicy Stambułu). Szkoły należące do sieci, zapewniają dostęp do kształcenia wg najwyższych światowych standardów jakościowych. (FW – we wszystkich szkołach stosuje się jednakowe rozwiązania organizacyjne, programowe a nawet architektowniczne). Od roku szkolnego 2003 – 2004 sieć objęła swym działaniem teren całego kraju. W chwili obecnej w ramach Bahcesehir Colleges działa 42 przedszkoli, 27 szkół podstawowych, 16 gimnazjów i szkół średnich. W szkołach przywiązuje się dużą wagę do działalności społecznej uczniów i sztuki. Szkoły współpracują z różnymi regionami świata. Efektem tej współpracy są liczne nagrody w różnych dziedzinach sztuki i sportu, takich jak The Small Montmare of Bitola Gold Palette Award (Macedonia), International Children and Youth’s Arts Competition (Polska). Uczniowie Kocaeli Bahcesehir Knightsbridge, dzięki systemowi kształcenia stają się prawdziwymi obywatelami świata. Wkrótce po utworzeniu sieci w 2006, Kocaeli Bahcesehir College podpisała partnerstwo z Knightsbridge School w Londynie (2010). Od tego czasu szkoła została przemianowana na szkołę Kocaeli Bahcesehir Knightsbridge School. W szkole kształci się obecnie 560 uczniów (2012-2013) wg specjalnego modelu indywidualnego kształcenia, którego celem jest zrównoważony rozwój uczniów otwartych na świat. Sieć szkół otrzymała prestiżowy tytuł Blue Ribbon Award’ w 2009 r. (FW tytuł przyznawany przez USA najlepszym szkołom na świecie).Ponadto szkoła otrzymała Green Flag Award w dowód uznania starań szkoły o ochronę środowiska naturalnego (recykling materiałów odpadowych takich jak metal, plastik i papier). |
 Founded in İstanbul, TURKEY in 1994, Bahcesehir Colleges has expanded nationwide to provide a modern and quality education and to contribute to education equality since 2003-2004 academic year. Bahcesehir Colleges educates students in 42 kindergarden schools, 27 elementary schools, 16 high schools. Kocaeli Bahcesehir Knightsbridge School has given great importance to social activities and arts and encouraged its students to become social individuals. For this reason, Kocaeli Bahcesehir Knightsbridge School attends to different competitions all over the world every year. It has won many awards in different fields of arts and sport such as “The Small Montmare of Bitola Gold Palette Award in Macedonia”, “International Children and Youth’s Arts Competition in Poland” and degrees in different types of Sports competition in national and international games. Kocaeli Bahcesehir Knightsbridge School also attends to dance companions all over the World ever year and aims his students to be Global Citizens. Shortly after its establishment in 2006, Kocaeli Bahcesehir College signed a partnership with Knightsbridge Schools, London in 2010. Since then the school has been renamed as Kocaeli Bahcesehir Knightsbridge School. The school currently has 560 students enrolled in the 2012-2013 academic year and adopts a student centred education model called ‘’The Individual Education Method’’ with which it aims to fully develop to create balanced, well-rounded, international minded learners. As a result of this striving effort, the school earned the ‘’Blue Ribbon Award’’ in 2009 by The Union of Schools of Excellence, an organization promoting quality in education in the US. In addition, the school was awarded with ‘’Green Flag Award’’ by Eco-Schools Organization thanks to the school’s tremendous efforts to recycle waste material such as metal, plastic and paper into innovative projects. |
